Thought Pudding

So, this will be the "About" page. I like these pages, and I feel this blog should have one...


About (the blog):
Well, this blog is titled "Budino di Fata", which means "Fairy Pudding" in Italian. It's a play-on of the 'pudding' of thoughts from day to day and 'fairy/sprite' being a nickname of mine since I was a kid. And I am, indeed, a fan of most custards and have an insatiable sweet tooth.


I write for no one else, just me. My own catharsis; and if others would like to read about my sheer awkwardness and odd things that I experience, they may.


Perhaps, I want to seem as I am giving these random thoughts more of a purpose, just by simply recording more of them. They range from all over my vast and random brain, from mere observances and lessons in anthropology, to my present surroundings, experiences, fears, and love...of ice-cream and gummy bears. 


About (me):
An ectomorph in possession of a mind bent towards culinary musings, humor and curiosity - also, unabashedly filled with daydreams, scattered thoughts and inner dialog...I am easily pleased, easily amused, and never bored.
I love to laugh and make others laugh.
I'm Italian (and 1/8th Irish...don't tell them I told you).
A lover of New York, taking the long way, pirates and surly sailors, sleep, good music, great danes, painting, orange blossoms, reading, and all things gastronomical - like my dutch oven or the idea that heirloom peach orchards and grape farms are still around (although, just barely). 
Cooking is my solace and my escape, as well as writing, painting and sketching; to watch people enjoying my food leaves me elated. And I now feel content to die, since meeting Anthony Bourdain.


And fairies do exist.
